Thumbs Up is continuously searching for ways to improve customer satisfaction and staff motivation. To this end we have implemented a series of yearly goals in order to facilitate a continual improvement. We monitor our procedures to gauge how they can be improved upon; we keep updated and extensive records; and we check output for defects and where appropriate take immediate corrective action. As a result Thumbs Up was awarded an ISO 9001 certificate, which is presented to companies with a proactive approach to achieving customer satisfaction.

Thumbs Up is continuously searching for ways in which we can improve our record on green issues. In recent years we have formed partnerships only with those companies who take their environmental responsibilities as seriously as we do; the factories we use are continuously inspected to ensure they maintain a high level of environmental practice; and wherever possible we look at ways we can use alternative power resources, including wind and solar. As a result Thumbs Up was awarded an ISO 14001 certificate, which is presented to companies with a progressive attitude to the environment.

Thumbs Up is affiliated to the Gift Association. The GA is the trade association for the UK and has been in operation for over sixty years. It represents a wide range of companies, from right across the gift and home industry sectors, including manufacturers, designers, wholesalers, importers, exporters and retailers. By being part of the association Thumbs Up benefits through a process of shared knowledge and experience enabling us to improve our business practice, which in turn leads to greater customer satisfaction.

Thumbs Up understands the importance of recycling and strives to produce as little waste as possible. As part of this endeavour, we are affiliated with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE Directive). This means that, where possible, we recycle or reuse all of our electrical and electronic products and equipment. Plus, by clearly marking our packaging with the WEEE symbol, we encourage our customers to do the same.
