We believe that only happy people make happy gifts, and happy gifts make our customers happy too. So in honour of all the happiness we spread, we were awarded an ISO 9001 certificate, which is presented to companies with a proactive approach to achieving customer satisfaction.

We care about having as little an impact on our planet as possible, and do whatever we can to help. It's not always easy, but every little thing we do helps. That's why thumbsUp! was awarded an ISO 14001 certificate, which is presented to companies with a progressive attitude to the environment.

We love nothing better than to turn something old and useless into something new and shiny (see our soldier stands!) As part of this endeavour, we are affiliated with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE Directive). This means that, where possible, we recycle or reuse all of our electrical and electronic products and equipment and encourage our customers to do the same.

No man is an island, and in this industry it's good to all keep in touch. That's why we are affiliated to the Gift Association where we can meet other like minded souls to talk shop (lets face it - those outside the industry just don't understand us).
-
CE
All the products we sell have received CE marking. This means that through a process of rigorous testing they have all met EU consumer safety, health and environmental requirements.
-
ROHS
All our products comply with RoHS regulation which restricts the use of certain hazardous substances. This regulation bans the use of more than agreed levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl and polybrominated diphenyl ether flame retardants in electrical equipment.

Recycle
At thumbsUp!, we understand the importance recycling has on the environment. Therefore we strive to ensure that we produce as little waste as possible in both our day to day business activity and our product packaging.
-
WEE
As a company, we are committed to contributing to a greener environment. We strive to use and further adopt renewable energy resources and where possible, look at ways we can use wind and solar power. We hope to have a greater reliance on such energy sources in the future.

Green Dot
As a company, we are associated with the Green Dot scheme. This is an industry funded European wide system which recovers and, where possible, recycles packaging. The scheme encourages manufacturers to cut down on the amount of packaging it produces.
